The fall market seems to be picking up since the lazy days of August.  Rates are still at an unprecidented low.  This is one of the best times to buy - there are still homes available, rates are low, but in a few months the supply will dry up somewhat. Some home prices are inching up.  This happens where the location is great & the condition is excellent.  Multiple offers are still happening on these properties. There are still many short sales and foreclosures.  The bank properties are getting snapped up as well, due to the good prices.  Also there are still many cash buyers.  First time buyer market is busy.  Things are happening here in Eastern Massachusetts - all real estate is local.
